Employment.

The Into Employment programme is a bespoke project run by SORM. Its goal is to get people into employment doing something they love.

Caitlin’s placement.

Caitlin’s placement was with the PFA team for Bradford Council. Throughout the process Caitlin came out of her shell and has become a completely different person.

On completion of Caitlin’s placement she was offered a full time job which she accepted. Check out this video to see her journey through the program.

Charles’ placement.

Charles is working on placement at the Independent Advice Hub.

In this video Charles talks about the support he has had and the impact that this has had on him.

Reverse Job Fair.

A lot of our students tell us that they are too anxious to go to careers fairs or feel they are unsure on what to take with them, what to ask or are scared to approach employers.

We run a "Reverse Job Fair" as part of our course where our students develop a better understanding of their skills, qualities and strengths and then prepare a vision board which can help them prompt conversations. We invite potential employers to the college so it's in a safe and familiar environment.
