Tony has been a musician for the past 26 years and has toured all over the world. Tony has worked on various projects such as MELT, STUTTER, and now more recently Bradford Punk bands The Negatives.

Tony brings to the company his vast experience in working in product and retail development, project management and general management.  He has worked in a management capacity for big names such as Project Khan, Seabrook Crisps & Taylors Timber.

Tony has qualifications in Youth Work. He also has experience in Human Resources through Citation.

John Bolton

Director, Co-Founder, Drum Tutor, Youth & Community Development Manager.

John has been a drummer & percussionist for over 31 years, and has a background in Jazz, jazz fusion and classic rock. John has worked on many projects over the years from doing session work across the region to band projects such as the cellar Rats, Dead Futures, and more recently, Bradford Punk band The Negatives.

John is a qualified Youth & Community Development Worker and brings 12 years in youth work and has worked on detached and outreach projects in Texas USA, and most areas across our region.

John brings his experience in working with some of the most hard to reach young people john also hold qualifications in drum & alcohol counselling, homeless advise and learning disabilities awards frame work.

Michelle Bolton

Michelle has 26 years experience of working with adults with learning disabilities. She has Qualifications in this area Diploma in health & social care, NVQ 3 in Health & Social Care. She advises the directors John, Tony & the staff team on all aspects in this area, including organising relevent training, safeguarding & linking in with other professionals in this field.

Michelle has been a unison union rep & completed completed all the relevent training in this area so she is able to advise on employment matters. Michelle oversees almost every aspect of the business to ensure that everything is kept in check & running efficiently. Generally she is needed to ensure the financial stability of the company always finding ways to help the company grow and progress.

Michelle Saunders

Non Exect Director of Learning Disabilities. 


Michelle has 20 years experience in supporting people with learning disabilities. She helps people reach their full potential. Michelle is working with Life Ways, Affinity Trust, Bradford and Leeds Adult Services, Supported Lives, Children’s Services and Mental Health teams to provide excellent service for everyone at SORM.

Michelle is qualified in Health and Social Care (Level 2 and 3). Michelle is also qualified in LDAF (Learning Disabilities Awards Framework. She is an emergency first aider and has qualifications in Food Hygiene, Health and Safety and Safeguarding.

Jonathan Chatziliadis

Originally from Athens, Greece, Jonathan moved to the UK in 2010 to study Music. Jonathan is currently studying for his Higher National Diploma in Music, which he will complete this year. Studies include Theory, Performance, Technology, and history of music. This allows Jonathan to the technical side of drums and guitar, as well as the context in which it should be performed. Jonathan started working at the studio as a volunteer and was given the job of Drums and Guitar teacher. He also works as the studio assistant, making sure everything runs smoothly.

Jonathan plays drums in the band Francis, which are a rock band based in the UK, signed to Sorm Records.

Andrew Illingworth

Andrew graduated from University of Huddersfield with a 1st Degree in Music Technology and Popular Music. Since then he successfully run a commercial online record label. Andrew is currently working as a freelance music producer, writing music for Universal Music Publishing, Dynamic Music and Sentric Music to name a few. His music has been used by Sky Sports, ITV, BBC and many other commercial broadcasters around the world. At Sorm Studios, Andrew works as the sound engineer and music producer for the bands and artists. He is also a group mentor for the National Citizen Service students.

Ed Linley

Ed started out as a volunteer at SORM studios, we realised that he is technically minded and good at repairs. ED is now in charge of repairs and maintanance at SORM studios.

He also works as a roadie, assisting with SORMS live shows and tours. He plays guitar in the band Clan Of Anarchy

Jerry Crawford/Red Dred


Jerry Crawford AKA Red Dred music producer/engineer who has been very instrumental in many music/media based projects and events. He has over thirty years of experience of DJing,music production and event organisation. Over the decades Jerry has provided training and entertainment at many functions including weddings, raves, community events, festivals, carnivals etc. Jerry is a radio presenter which he has been doing for over 25 years. Jerry is the first pioneer to introduce house music to Bradford. he has worked at Livestock Records – Bradford’s 1st dance music record shop. He set up Bradford’s first acid house rave all nighter.

In early 90s Jerry set up Reuben Sounds, Bradford’s 1st community recording studio at Bradford Community Arts where he started running music production and DJ mixing courses.

In the year 2000 Jerry set up Mapa recording studio. Over the decades he has worked with many organisations such as

Xplosion, Bradford Council, The Youth Services, Bradford Festival, Bradford Trident, The Princes Trust, SportsDev, Raise The Roof, BCB Radio, as well as other schools, community groups and charity organisations.

Francesca Yeadon

Project Leader.

Francesca has a background in music, singing, and dealing with a variety of different people through offering counselling and support.
Her first work placement student to start at SORM in 2014 which progressed into volunteering long term with the team as a performance coach with the young singers.
Francesca graduated from Bradford College with a Degree in Counselling and Psychology, she is currently working full-time with the University of Leeds as a project coordinator in the faculty of medicine and health.
Francesca is the project coordinator at SORM for the ‘I Love Bradford Active Bystanders’ campaign & singing and performance coach for the SORM stars.

Rebecca Sykes

Youth Arts Worker



Rebecca is a visual and multi-media artist, qualified in Fine Art and Youth and Community Development. She has delivered a wide range of diverse projects with young people and community groups for the past 20 years and specializes in murals, film-making, performance, visual arts and arts development projects.

Rebecca is the founder and director of Void Arts Ltd, an independent youth arts organisation and works in partnership with many Bradford organisations, including Youth Services, schools and charities.

Rebecca also has experience in music; singing, performing and song writing in her own band, as well as creating band visuals and projections for her own performances, as well as for other musicians.
